Excellent video for doing this job. Thanks for showing me how! Years ago I used to do all my own maintenance but I was lucky to have company vehicles so I got out of the habit. Saved a small fortune after Ford replaced the offside rear disc due to uneven wear under warranty but the fault returned. Just worked out fine on my '20 mk 3 Kuga. For others with the same model the parking brake release is slightly different in that you turn on the ignition, press the accelerator, press down on the park brake switch - this gives a message 'press brake pedal to release brakes' and all done! Once done, just turn on ignition and pull up park brake switch and it resets.

For anyone watching Parking Brake needs to be in the Off Position before starting the Service Positions Process and you don't need a wind back tool as the Piston is a Push Conventional Job whilst in Service Mode 👊

Great video, the muck to the back of the engine gearbox case will probably be the high pressure fuel pump gasket leaking oil. Common issue on these engines.

The button releases the pressure from inside the gauge, there is a one way valve to be able to measure top pressure at the cylinder. Also you should open the throttle at the same time to facilitate the flow of air, didn't catch if you were doing it.

I would imagine you put your grease gun in the hole and give it a few shots of the sticky stuff not oil tbh. Or wind the rack out and apply it to the teeth with a brush. I don’t think filling the whole rack with oil sounds right. But that’s just my opinion.

While installing this plastic part (called “BMW support side panel” by the dealership), I noticed that along with the top 3 “clips” that attach to the car (not to the bumper), it also has 1 clip that attaches on the bottom. I just installed only the top ones and had to remove the tire, and arch cover to uninstall it (pretty painful as these tabs lock from behind and u have to get something to push the tabs in). Long story short, be mindful to ensure both bottom AND top tabs click into place. Hope this helps someone 😃

Hi William, I does make a difference with the LED bulbs the light they throw out is more than a standard 5w bulb and uses less than 1 watt in power. Hope you get you front bumper fix on soon I bet you miss driving the Kuga. Are you doing any more Mini videos. Have a good weekend Take care

Great mod I did them on mine are you aware the LEDs only work one way if you put them in and they don’t work turn them half a turn Are you going to do a video mini video of the one in the background

Hiya mate a question, a mechanic told me if you get the wiper motor only it would need to be calibrated Told me to get the wiper arms plus motor should i get the motor only?😊

Ouch that was hard to watch your frustration when you realised it ain’t gonna fit. Hopefully you will resolve the issue and get the correct bumper sorted and fitted back on. Fingers crossed.

Ford might of changed the design slightly in at some point in 2017 or the ST-line model bumper is different to other Kuga trims levels
